Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking your safari adventure

These Terms and Conditions govern all safari tours, packages, and services offered by Safaris Adventure Bookers ("the Company"). By making a booking with us, you ("the Traveler") agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.

    1. Booking Conditions

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and a written confirmation from Safaris Adventure Bookers. Safari itineraries are subject to minor modifications based on weather, wildlife movements, park authority regulations, or road conditions. We will always communicate any changes promptly and provide alternatives of equal or greater value.

    2. Payment Terms

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining 70% balance must be paid at least 30 days before the safari start date. Payments accepted via bank wire transfer, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), PayPal, and M-Pesa. All prices are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, park fee increases, or government taxes until full payment is received.

    3. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 60+ days before departure: deposit forfeited. 30-59 days before departure: 50% of total cost charged. 15-29 days before departure: 75% of total cost charged. Less than 14 days or no-show: 100% of total cost charged (no refund). All cancellations must be made in writing via email to booking@safarisadventurebookers.com. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations.

    4. Travel Insurance

All travelers are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering medical evacuation, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure. Safaris Adventure Bookers shall not be held responsible for any costs arising from medical emergencies, evacuation, or trip interruptions not covered by the traveler's insurance policy.

    5. Passports & Visas

It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure valid passports (minimum 6 months validity from date of travel) and appropriate visas for Kenya, Tanzania, and/or Uganda. Most nationalities can obtain e-visas online before travel. The East Africa Tourist Visa covers Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. We can advise on visa requirements but are not responsible for denied entry due to insufficient documentation.

    6. Health Requirements

Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory for entry into Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. You must carry your Yellow Fever vaccination certificate (yellow card). We recommend consulting a travel health clinic at least 6 weeks before departure for advice on malaria prophylaxis, Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus boosters, and other recommended vaccinations. Travelers with pre-existing medical conditions must inform us at the time of booking.

    7. Itinerary Changes

Safaris Adventure Bookers reserves the right to modify itineraries due to weather conditions, road conditions, park closures, wildlife movements, or other circumstances beyond our control. Alternative arrangements of equal or greater value will be provided. In the rare event that a significant change materially affects the tour, we will offer an alternative tour, credit for future travel, or a partial refund as appropriate.

    8. Liability

Safaris Adventure Bookers acts as an intermediary between travelers and accommodation, transport, park, and activity providers. While we exercise due diligence in selecting partners, we cannot be held liable for acts, omissions, or defaults of third-party service providers. Our total liability is limited to the total tour cost paid by the traveler. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.

    9. Wildlife & Nature

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. East Africa offers extraordinary wildlife densities, but animals are wild and free-roaming in their natural habitats. Our experienced guides and naturalists will maximize your chances of exceptional sightings based on years of field experience, local knowledge, and real-time intelligence from our guide network.

    10. Photography

By participating in our tours, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes including our website, social media, and marketing materials. If you prefer not to be included in promotional content, please inform your guide at the start of the tour. All wildlife and landscape photographs taken during the tour remain the intellectual property of the photographer.

    11. Complaints

We are committed to providing the highest quality safari experiences. Any complaints during the tour should be raised immediately with your tour guide or our 24/7 operations team for prompt resolution on the ground. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of tour completion to booking@safarisadventurebookers.com. We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and provide a full response within 14 working days.

    12. Force Majeure

Safaris Adventure Bookers is not liable for any failure to perform obligations under these terms due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, political instability, civil unrest, government travel restrictions, airline cancellations, strikes, volcanic eruptions, floods, or any other events of force majeure. In such cases, we will work with travelers to reschedule, offer travel credits, or provide refunds as circumstances allow.
