5-Day Masai Mara & Serengeti Safari

Today's route brings together Rift Valley scenic drive and First Mara game drive. Set out from Nairobi in the early morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment with panoramic views stretching across the valley floor. Travel onward through Narok town with a brief stop. Reach the Masai Mara by lunchtime. Following lunch, set off for an afternoon game drive on the vast golden savannah. The Mara's wildlife density is immediately apparent — large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and topi are visible everywhere, while lions rest under acacia trees and elephants move in family groups.

Expect the day to center on Big Five tracking and Mara River. Spend the day focused on game drives. Morning drive tracking predators at their most active.
