Drive south to Amboseli National Park arriving by late morning. Check into your lodge with panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro stretching across the horizon. After a buffet lunch on the lodge terrace, head out for an afternoon game drive among the park's famous elephant herds with Africa's highest peak as the backdrop. The marshes attract extraordinary birdlife and large mammals congregate around the permanent water sources.
